Privacy
AuraOS keeps what you put into it so the app can show it back to you. It doesn’t sell it, show you ads, or track you around the web.
What we store
- Your account: your email address and a hashed password (or your Google account’s email and name, if you sign in with Google).
- What you enter: your identities or classes, attributes, skills, habits and their check-offs, time you log, check-ins (including mood and energy), journal entries, projects, tasks, reviews, seasons and your Charter.
- Settings: your time zone, usual sleep and day cutoff, theme, reminders and coach voice.
- Reminders: if you turn them on, the address your browser gives us for sending push notifications.
Where it lives
- In a database hosted by Supabase (in the United States), synced to your devices through PowerSync.
- The website runs on Netlify, and traffic passes through Cloudflare.
- A copy is kept on each device you use, so the app works offline. Signing out removes it from that device.
- Nightly backups are kept for 30 days on a private server run by AuraOS.
- Push reminders are delivered by your browser’s own push service (for example Google, Apple or Mozilla).
Claude
If you connect AuraOS to Claude, Claude can read your AuraOS data when you ask it something, and make changes you approve. What Claude reads is handled by Anthropic under your own Anthropic account’s terms and privacy policy. Journal entries and check-in notes you mark private are never shared with it. You can disconnect it at any time in Claude’s settings.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices
- Export everything as a file from Settings → Your data, any time.
- Delete everything you’ve entered from the same place; it’s gone from the database right away and from backups within 30 days.
- To close your account entirely, email [email protected].
Children
AuraOS isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll say so in the app before it takes effect. Questions go to [email protected]. See also the terms.
